PuzzIt is a free puzzle site. You do not need an account to play anything. If you choose to create one, we save your email address and a record of the puzzles you finish, as described below.
PuzzIt is free because it shows ads, which are provided by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies (small files your browser saves) to choose which ads you see and to measure how they perform. That can include ads picked to match your interests.
If you are in Europe, the UK, or Switzerland, Google asks for your choices first, before showing you ads matched to your interests.

Your browser remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, so the site looks the same next time you visit. If you sign in, your browser also keeps a secure sign-in token so you do not have to log in again on every visit. This stays on your device, apart from what is needed to keep you signed in.
Playing does not require an account and collects nothing personal about you. If you create an account, we save your email address, along with a record of each puzzle you finish: which puzzle you played, how hard it was, how long you took, and the date. We use these records to show you your own statistics, and, combined with other players' records, to show how hard or how popular a puzzle is.
If you sign up with the "Continue with Google" button, Google confirms your email address to us so we can set up your account. We never see your Google password.
The credits you earn and the solve effects you unlock are also saved to your account, so they follow you between devices.
Account data is stored with Supabase, the database and authentication provider that runs PuzzIt's accounts. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with anyone beyond Supabase (to store it) and Google (for ads and, if you choose it, sign-in).
We keep your account and its records for as long as your account exists. You can sign out at any time from the Account page. To request deletion of your account and its records, contact info@puzzit.app.
We will update this page and its date whenever the information we save or how we handle it changes. Check this page from time to time for updates.
